Before you apply
Do I need an AI certificate to apply?
No. A certificate is one way to show engagement with legal innovation — published work, speaking, or hands-on AI use in your legal career count equally.
I'm a senior lawyer but not active on social media. Can I join?
Yes. We ask for professional visibility, not follower counts. Many of our strongest members are building their public presence with us.
What jurisdictions are eligible?
All. LegalLIZ is a global community — you need a valid licence in good standing in your jurisdiction.
How selective is the review?
We accept lawyers who meet the criteria and genuinely commit to the Pledge. It's not about pedigree — it's about mentorship, collaboration, and technology.
Is there a membership fee?
Founding cohort members pay nothing — that status is locked in for life. Once the founding cohort closes, Flagship membership is $99 per year.
What happens if I don't fulfil the Pledge?
We'll check in first — life happens. Members who don't engage over a full year move out of Flagship status at renewal.
